  • Test the speed

Today’s mobile users are a restless lot and keeping them waiting for more than 5 seconds increases the probability of a bounce by more than 120%. Ensure that your page load time does not lag by compressing your images, avoiding using autoplay videos, and keeping the entire size under 1MB. Regardless whether your user is using data or WiFi, your website should be able to load under 5 seconds.

  • Universal design

With a variety of mobile devices available it the market, your audience may view your site on any number of possible devices. Test your responsive design on as many devices as possible before making it live to ensure that all your users receive a seamless experience across all devices.

Remember, that it’s still a website, and all your efforts to drive traffic should be the same. You still have to put up the same efforts just like the traditional website, meaning that you still need to optimize it for search and manage your content to target the right audience.
